I had a brilliant visit during their open day. All the members were friendly and knowledgeable with a keenness to explain various scopes on demonstration. It was a great to learn the highlights on what’s happening in the Solar world and a wonderful opportunity to look around the development of their new planetarium. I’m looking forward to going back later in the year to see the finished planetarium, have a coffee in the new cafe and experience it in full operation. The new planetarium has been built on top of the old water reservoir (building) that will still be accessible by the general public and will house various articles for display.
